Somen completed his kindergarten education from T.K. Bhattacharya’s Sishu Bharati in Basanti.Then he joined primary school at Basanti St. Zeviar Secondary School. He completed secondary and higher secondary education from Basanti High School and later graduated with a BSC degree from Sundarban Hazi Desarat Collage,under the University of Calcutta. He also earned a Visarad degree in Fine Arts from Sarva Bharatiya University.
He developed a passion for reading about different Indian scholars at a young age. The quote “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man” is attributed to Swami Vivekananda, which deeply resonated with him, enriching his life and inspiring him to realize his own potential.
